Korea official hospital list checking routes

Published

Compare labels locally, then use the relevant official route for the institution’s actual record.

Use the result to identify the relevant source question. Inputs do not establish a hospital’s current accreditation or registration.

Inputs and selections are processed only on this screen.

Your selections, institution labels and dates are processed in this screen’s memory only. They are not sent or saved. Official links open the issuing body’s website.

No current local institution register is available. Compare labels from two documents and use the official lookup for the selected credential.

Enter both institution labels to compare their spelling locally.

Search the full name and relevant type; compare location, grade and certificate dates.

What does official list comparison actually compare?

Two supplied institution labels, with outer spaces removed, are compared exactly.

The result distinguishes empty, same and different labels. A match is a spelling result, not proof that the two documents concern the same legal institution.

Enter the institution label printed on each of the two documents. The comparator keeps internal spaces, punctuation and letter case distinct; it removes only spaces at the two ends. The output therefore concerns the supplied text, not a search result from a register.

If both labels match, continue with the institution type and location. A text match cannot show whether two documents concern the same legal entity or facility. A different result is also not evidence of wrongdoing; it identifies a spelling difference that needs more source information.

Does official list comparison hold a current hospital register?

No current local institution register is supplied.

Domestic institution records were not obtained. KAHF captured fields lacked certificate dates and its reuse conditions remain unresolved; no institutional list is republished.

The guide did not obtain the current domestic register’s institutional rows. The psychiatric source was checked at specification level only. In neither case does an empty local collection mean that the official system contains no institutions or that a particular hospital lacks an award.

For KAHF, the inspected public result fields lacked grades and certificate dates, while list-reuse conditions were not established. The old licensed KHIDI label file has historical ranges and blank values. These sources are not combined into a fabricated current hospital list.

Why does official list comparison avoid similar-name matching?

Similarity does not identify a legal institution, branch or certificate.

Case, punctuation and internal spacing remain distinct. Match the full source name, institution type and address before connecting records from different documents.

An abbreviation or translation can remove the words that distinguish two institutions. Keep both original labels until the official source establishes their relationship using the relevant identity fields. No shared brand, similar spelling or source row number is used as an automatic joining key.

The source’s certificate identifier belongs to that award, while a portal’s row number belongs to its own collection. The presence of the same number elsewhere does not establish a common hospital identifier. This is why a text comparison deliberately stops short of merging source records.

Which route does official list comparison provide?

The selected scheme chooses KOIHA, MedicalKorea or JCI’s international directory.

MedicalKorea has different registration and KAHF lookups. The source route must match the claim before its result can be interpreted.

Choose the scheme actually claimed on the document. Domestic accreditation uses KOIHA’s status route, recruitment registration uses MedicalKorea and its competent authority, KAHF uses its assessment lookup, and JCI uses the international program directory.

A route’s title and filters tell you what the search can address. In MedicalKorea, registration and KAHF remain separate lookups. In the JCI site, the United States domestic search is separate from the international route relevant to a Korean institution. Keep that distinction with the result.

How does official list comparison handle an absent match?

An unresolved match remains a source question rather than a new status grade.

Check scope, category, spelling, location and date. A failed page load and a completed search with no matching row are different observations.

An unsuccessful name query can leave the category, spelling or location unresolved. State which part was not matched. An official view that fails to load is a different observation from a completed search without a matching row, and neither should be silently turned into a new grade.

A field missing within a matched row also has a narrower meaning than a missing institution. An absent end date, for example, leaves the period unresolved; it does not authorize using another institution’s period or choosing a standard duration as the hospital’s actual certificate date.

Are official list comparison inputs transmitted?

Labels stay in the screen’s memory; no input is attached to official links.

Use institution labels only to compare the documents. The function has no remote search, saved search history or document-upload step.

The two labels are kept only for the comparison on the current screen. There is no upload step and no remote hospital-name query attached to this input. The result does not become a saved certificate-check record that can later establish when an award was verified.

The external links contain only the official checking route. If you choose to navigate to that source, perform the search there under its instructions and keep your own note of the fields actually returned. The local text result and the issuing body’s record remain different evidence.

What fields complete an official list comparison?

Name, category, location, award details and stated dates identify the record.

Retain the source and checking date. The absence of a source field must not be filled from another similarly named institution.

Where a certificate number is supplied, retain it alongside the scheme and institution details. It can help an issuing body identify a specific award. If only an informal name is available, ask for the document details instead of treating the text match as a completed identity check.

Keep the checking date separate from the source update date and certificate period. A later answer may resolve identity without supplying dates or grades. Record the scope of that answer so the response to one field is not promoted into a decision on every credential. Match a later document to the same institution and scheme before connecting the newly answered fields.

What are the limits of this tool?

  • The spelling result does not establish identity or accreditation.
  • No local current register or institution ranking is available.
  • Use the issuer for missing grade, period or facility details.

Original scope, dates and limits remain attached to each source. Missing evidence is not replaced by assumptions.
